Working Group on Sustainable Industry, Energy, Transport and Infrastructure

Working Group on Sustainable Industry, Energy, Transport and Infrastructure (WG Sustainable Transport) will strive to assist the signatory Parties of the Carpathian Convention in their collaborative efforts to realize the objectives outlined in Articles 8 (Sustainable Transport and Infrastructure) and 10 (Industry and Energy) of the Carpathian Convention. 

Due to the programmatic needs, the latest work of the Working Group has been primary focus on sustainable transport in the Carpathians, allowing the development of the Protocol on sustainable transport and related action plan.

Establishment 

The WG Sustainable Transport was established by the decisions COP1/8 and COP1/9 of the First Conference of the Parties (COP1) to the Carpathian Convention in 2006.
