“Celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the adoption of the Carpathian Convention”

The 10th Anniversary of the adoption of the Framework Convention on the Protection and Sustainable Development of the Carpathians was organized on 22nd May 2013 at 16:00 at Vienna International Centre. The reception is kindly being hosted by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine with the support of the interim secretariat.
The Carpathian Convention was adopted on 22 May 2003 by Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine. The 10th Anniversary of the Carpathian Convention will be an opportunity to jointly celebrate the achievements and successes for promoting the sustainable development of the Carpathian Region, based on the valorisation of its natural and cultural assets and their preservation for the future generations.
In the last 10 years, your partnership was fundamental in achieving all milestones in the development of the Carpathian Convention and its activities. Therefore, we perceive your participation as essential, as it will add significant value to the event and contribute to further underline the importance of our cooperation. Representatives of the past and current Presidencies, our Focal Points, the representations of the Carpathian Convention countries in Vienna and our long-term partners and observers have been invited.
