Anticipating Ukraine’s accession to the EU, with its vast farmland and even greater challenges, the relevant EU institutions are already thinking about the difficult task of future cooperation.

Meanwhile, Ukraine will have to transform its agricultural sector and agricultural policy to align with the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy and the European Green Deal, develop a national agricultural development plan, coordinate activities with European institutions, and reach an understanding with neighbouring countries. In particular, Ukraine needs to convince immediate neighbours that its accession to the EU and cooperation in developing green and inclusive agricultural policy will benefit all.

The project “Green and Inclusive Agricultural Policy – Steps Towards” implemented by ICO Information Center “Green Dossier” aims to address these challenges. It is supported by the Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention and financed by the EU and the International Renaissance Fund within the framework of the “European Renaissance of Ukraine” project.
