2nd Carpathian ESD Seminar

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a tool to facilitate learning across ages and sectors – as societal learning is indispensable to achieve sustainable development.
The Carpathian ESD Expert Network was initiated at the First Carpathian ESD Seminar in Budapest in 2019 organized by the Hungarian Presidency of the Carpathian Convention at the time – who also chose ESD as one of its priorities!
Participants from the 7 Carpathian countries wanted to have more exchange between each other in the field of ESD – and so, the idea of the Network was born.
The Current Presidency of Poland is continuing this important mission – by organizing the Second Carpathian ESD Seminar in Zakopane, Poland, on September 28-30, 2022.
