Climate Data Store (CDS) training and the 6th WG Climate Change meeting

The 6th Carpathian Convention Working Group on Climate Change (WG Climate Change) meeting took place on 9 October 2019 in Budapest, Hungary, at the premises of the National Meteorological Service (Kitaibel Pál u. 1, 1024 Budapest, Hungary).
The Fifth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Carpathian Convention (COP5, 2017) adopted an amendment to the Convention, the new Article 12bis on Climate Change. The main purpose of the 6th WG Climate Change meeting was a discussion on pending ratification processes, implantation of the Article 12bis and prioritization of activities to be undertaken by the WG Climate Change.
The meeting considered also the recommendations of the last Working Group on Sustainable Forest Management (Zvolen Slovakia 27-28 June 2019), which call for undertaking activities concerning the impact of climate change on the Carpathian forests, as its priority for the implementation of the Forest Protocol and its Strategic Action Plan.
