4th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region
29 - 30 October 2015, Ulm, Germany
The 4th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, jointly organised by the European Commission, the State of Baden-Württemberg and the City of Ulm will take place on 29 and 30 October 2015 at the Trade Fair Ulm.
The Annual Forum 2015 titled “Smart, social, sustainable – Innovation for the Danube Region” will give particular importance to topics on innovation, professional training, labour mobility and migration, competitiveness and entrepreneurship as well as the role of civil society. Several thematic sessions, workshops and panel discussion will give an opportunity to explore key factors for a sustainable and inclusive growth of the Danube Region.
Please be informed that the Carpathian Convention will take an active role in the workshops scheduled during the Annual Forum under two different Thematic Fields:
- Connect the Region – Discussion and Workshop Putting synergies into practice: regional initiatives together for sustainable use of local resources
- Protecting the Environment – Workshop and Panel Discussion Protecting the environment in the Danube Region: Integrated horizontal cooperation
