International Conference - The Alpine Convention and the Carpathian Convention: sharing the experiences. The Apennines, a European mountain range

The Italian Presidency of the Alpine Convention for 2013-2014 is organizing the International Conference “The
Alpine Convention and the Carpathian Convention: sharing the experiences. The Apennines, a European
mountain range”.
The Conference is organized in collaboration with the United Nation Environment Program and Interim
Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention (UNEP Wien – ISCC), the European Academy of Bolzano (EURAC),
the Italian ESPON Contact Point, the University of Camerino, the Italian Alpine Club (CAI), the Sarnano local
group of CAI and Sarnano Municipality.
The conference will be held the 23rd and 24th April in Sarnano (MC) in conjunction with the celebration of the
30th anniversary of the foundation of the Italian Alpine Club group of Sarnano.
