The Fourth Meeting of the WG on Sustainable Tourism
21 - 22 October 2013, Brasov, Romania
The Fourth Meeting of the Carpathian Convention Working Group on Sustainable Tourism will be held in Brasov, Romania from 21 to 22 October 2013. The Meeting will be organized back to back to the 2nd European Ecotourism Conference (23 – 25 October).
The main objective of the Meeting is the discussion on the content of the „Strategy for the future sustainable tourism development of the Carpathians“, which is currently under development process leading by Ecological Tourism in Europe, ETE, and which is supported by the Advising-assistance Programme of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Protection and Nuclear Safety in the Countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
The meeting will be organized by the Interim Secretariat of the Carpathian Convention (supported by UNEP Vienna) and all project partners responsible for the development process of the Strategy.
