Alpine-Carpathian Cooperation Forum
06 - 08 September 2013, Rzeszow, Poland
The international fair-conference event “Alpine-Carpathian Cooperation Forum” which is organized by the Association of the Carpathian Euroregion Poland on the 7th and 8th of September 2013 in “Podpromie Hall” in Rzeszow. The 2013 Edition is a continuation of the initiative undertaken in September 2012, which was met with great interest and acknowledgment in the business, politics and science environment.
Its success has encouraged us to undertake further actions and strengthened our believe in a necessity of organizing such events. The first edition of the Forum was of inter-branch nature, which allowed comprehensive presentation of diverse resources of the Carpathian Euroregion and of other mountain areas in Europe. Its nature was an excellent basis for creating possibility of organizing another editions of the “Alpine-Carpathian Cooperation Forum.”
The Forum is an important element in the Carpathian Euroregion development policy where Carpathians are perceived as a common socio-economic space competitive in the European and world scale. This year’s Edition is held under the banner ..Carpathian economy – mountain energy.” Its aim is to present the economic potential of the Carpathian Euroregion – energy of people, organizations, institutions and of places connected with the Carpathians.
It will enable the dialogue and exchange of experiences not only between Alpine and Carpathian regions, but also between other European regions invited to the Forum. It is going to be the meeting place where favorable conditions for cooperation and common ground for mutual understanding are created. The focus of attention on the issue of ,.pure,’ energy in the Alps and Carpathians based on renewable, and traditional resources will be an important element of the Forum.
