Conference of the “Europe of the Carpathians” cycle

This year’s conference programme focused in particular on perspectives of strengthening parliamentary cooperation between the Carpathian and Central European states (among others in the frames of bilateral friendship groups, parliamentary groups, delegations to Parliamentary Assemblies), main tasks for the parliamentarians engaged in the activities for the development of the Carpathians (Carpathian Strategy, Carpathian Convention, 20 th anniversary of the Carpathian Euroregion), and the role of the media in creating a common information space for this part of Europe.

The conference has been attended by representatives of all the Carpathian states, including representatives of parliaments, governments, local authorities and associations operating for the benefit of the region.
